Former president Donald Trump sat for a deposition on Wednesday in a defamation lawsuit from author E Jean Carroll, who alleged the previous president raped her in a New York Metropolis division retailer within the Nineties.
“We’re happy that on behalf of our consumer, E. Jean Carroll, we have been in a position to take Donald Trump’s deposition as we speak,” the previous Elle columnist’s attorneys advised The Impartial. “We aren’t in a position to remark additional.”
Ms Carroll’s swimsuit accuses Mr Trump of defamation for claiming in 2019 she was “completely mendacity” in response to the unique rape allegation.
Final week, the previous president continued attacking Ms Carroll and downplaying the allegations.
