Pierce Brosnan Says He Wore His Actual Marriage ceremony Ring in Black Adam in Honor of His Spouse Keely

Pierce Brosnan introduced slightly piece of his marriage into the DC Prolonged Universe.

The Golden Globe nominee, 69, revealed that he wore his precise wedding ceremony ring whereas filming the upcoming Black Adam as a tribute to his spouse of 21 years, Keely Shaye Brosnan, in a latest interview with Leisure Tonight.

“That is our wedding ceremony ring and it is a watch that Keely purchased me a few years in the past with an inscription that [reads], ‘Time flies on love’s wings,'” he stated. “I made a decision to put on it for this character. It appeared applicable.”

“The person [has] traversed the ages of time. He is one of the highly effective sorcerers within the DC comedian e book world. He did have a spouse referred to as Enza, and she or he was much more highly effective than him I hear,” Pierce then defined, noting that he has “no thought” who would possibly probably play Enza.

Keely, 59, was touched by her husband’s refined onscreen tribute. “I really like these emblems, that he took these with him into the superpower, superhero realm,” she gushed.

In Black Adam, Pierce performs Physician Destiny (a.ok.a. Kent Nelson), a superhero and Justice Society of America member who wears the Helmet of Destiny, wields magic and units out to confront Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s titular character, per an outline on DC’s web site.

The actor beforehand honored his spouse on their twenty first anniversary in August, sharing a throwback photograph from their wedding ceremony day. “Completely satisfied Anniversary my love @keelyshayebrosnan. We danced that evening and nonetheless dance the dance immediately. I might do all of it once more,” he wrote.

Keely beforehand spoke to PEOPLE about her husband on the New York Metropolis premiere of Black Adam on Wednesday, raving that “he is a superhero at residence, so why not on the massive display screen too?”

When requested what makes her husband so tremendous, Keely stated: “His coronary heart. He has an enormous coronary heart, beneficiant, heat, form coronary heart.”

Pierce and Keely tied the knot in 2001 after assembly in 1994, they usually share sons Dylan, 25, and Paris, 21.
